From my experience, the cinnamon foot scrub can last for months. But it’s always better to make a small batch for one to two pedicures and make a fresh one the next time you want to exfoliate your feet.

The mica powder adds color to the Epsom salt scrub. It is not compulsory, but I like the icy blue color, that’s why I added it.

Yes, you can use red food coloring and silicone soap mold. I used red food coloring the first time I made it. But do a patch test just to prevent skin reactions.

They won’t fall apart outside the fridge if your house is relatively cool.
But you mustn’t touch or move them too much.
But during the warm months, they’ll apart because the coconut oil will melt to liquid.

Fruit scrubs should be made and used up the same day or stored in the fridge for a couple of days.
I always prefer to make fruit sugar scrubs and use them up the same day.

Here are some scrubs with longer shelf life:

Also check the DIY sugar scrub archive for more recipes with oil instead of fruit or water.
Because scrubs with coconut oil or honey last longer than ones with fruits or water.
