How To Make Coffee Cocoa Body Scrub
Hey! How would you like to make a coffee cocoa body scrub?
This homemade chocolate coffee scrub contains five ingredients that you may already have in your pantry.
But if you’re not a coffee drinker, you can pick the least pricey coffee grounds in the grocery store.
That’s what I do.
I buy the most affordable coffee grounds if I need to make a coffee scrub and have no coffee at home.
And it works just fine.

Also, it’s best to let this coffee cocoa scrub sit overnight before using it.
I find it gives the coffee time to soak up the wet ingredients and provides the scrub with a richer texture.

Cocoa Coffee Body Scrub Recipe

You can make this coffee DIY scrub with used coffee grounds, but make sure they are completely dry.
If your coffee grounds are wet, the recipe may not turn out like mine, and the scrub will not last as long as it’s supposed to.
The coffee cocoa scrub would get moldy after a couple of days and won’t be safe to use on your skin, which is also a waste of ingredients.
So dry your coffee grounds in the oven or use fresh dry coffee grounds.

How to use your Cocoa Coffee Body scrub
- First, spoon out the amount of chocolate coffee body scrub into a bowl you can use in the shower.
- Always take the scrub you need and keep the rest from moisture.
- It would keep your scrub fresh.
- Next, shower with soap and exfoliating gloves or washcloths, whatever you prefer.
- Then rinse your body, and dab with a towel until it is damp.
- With your damp fingers, scoop a good amount of your cocoa coffee scrub and exfoliate your skin in up and down and circular motions.
- Then wait for about 5 to 10 minutes before rinsing off.
- When your time is up, rinse off the scrub under the shower.
- Make sure to rub on your skin while rinsing because the cocoa and coffee will leave some brown residue on your skin.
- After rinsing, do not dry your skin with a towel.
- And if you’re going to wear a towel out of the shower, use a dark-colored one.
- You don’t want stains on your bright-colored towels
- Let your skin dry on its own.
- Wear dark-colored clothes for today.
- The next day, or maybe in the evening, you’ll see the coffee residue coming off your skin when you shower with soap.
- Wash it off thoroughly, and do your regular after-shower routine.
Okay, that’s it.
