7 Clean Girl Weekly Tips To Keep Your Room Fresh and Tidy

Are you looking for some clean girl tips for your bedroom?

You’re in the right place.

This post will show simple yet effective tips for keeping a clean and organized bedroom.

A bedroom where you can relax and not feel cluttered with stuff and dirt.

Let’s dive in.

7 Clean girl weekly tips for your bedroom

Being a clean girl isn’t just about looking polished.

It also includes caring for your space to reflect your inner calm.

And since your bedroom is one of the places you spend the most time, here are seven vital tips to ensure it remains a place of cleanliness and comfort:

1. Change your sheets weekly

Some of us spend two or three weeks sleeping on the same sheets.

And that’s not okay.

Instead, start the week off right by changing your bed sheets.

I don’t know about you, but sleeping on fresh sheets feels amazing.

Also, fresh sheets promote better hygiene and help you sleep well.

Wash your sheets with warm water weekly to remove dirt, sweat, and allergens.

2. Do your laundry every week

Once you remove those dirty sheets, add them to your laundry basket.

And make sure to do your laundry weekly as well.

There’s no need to keep dirty clothes piling up in your bedroom.

Did you know that dirty clothes begin to stink after a while?

Also, damp towels in your laundry basket can become breeding grounds for bacteria and mold.

And you don’t want mold growing on your clothes or in your space.

So make it a point to sort your laundry weekly and throw them in the washer.

And don’t forget to fold and put away clean laundry to prevent clutter from piling up in your space.

I know sorting and folding laundry is another painful chore to do.

But clearing out that clean pile only makes your life easier during the week.

Thankfully, it’s my husband’s chore.

After washing and drying, he separates the laundry, and we all fold our stuff while he folds the sheets and towels.

Keeping a pile of clean laundry takes space and makes it hard for you to find stuff.

Because you’ll never know if you need something in that pile.

Anyway, moving on…

3. Change your pajamas every other day

It’s tempting to wear the same pair of pajamas for days.

But changing them every other day helps keep things fresh and prevents the buildup of sweat and bacteria.

Also, wearing clean pajamas can make bedtime even cozier.

But wearing pajamas without underwear is even better and great for your girlie parts.

As it gives your area space for ventilation throughout the night.

But if you want to go commando and have no idea how to, bedtime is one of the best times to start.

4. Dust your dresser and everything on it

One of the things that can mess up your clean girl life is dust.

So, grab a microfiber cloth or a duster and clean your dresser every week.

Pay special attention to surfaces, edges, and decorative items.

I usually remove everything on the top of my dresser and wipe it down.

Also, empty your vanity trays and other organizers, clean them well, and put things back.

Another thing I do is wipe down lotion and perfume bottles because dust settles on them after a while.

Lastly, don’t forget decorative items like the fake plant and mirror.

Once you’ve done all these, your dresser will look as good as new.

5. Clean under your bed and behind the headboard

Under your bed is another place where dust collects.

So, use a vacuum cleaner with an extended hose to clean underneath your bed.

Remove dust, hairs, maybe even pet hair, and other stray items that found their way there.

And while you’re at it, dust behind your headboard too.

That tiny space between your headboard and the wall is another crevice that collects dust bunnies.

So make sure to clean it weekly to prevent allergens.

6. Sweep or vacuum your room

After all the dusting, give your room a good sweep or vacuum to lock it all together.

And make sure to move things around and vacuum thoroughly.

Only move things that aren’t too heavy to move.

Leave other heavy and bulky items in their place.

But pay more attention to corners, under furniture, and around furniture legs where dust accumulates.

7. Throw out empty cosmetic containers

The last clean girl weekly tip is to check your cosmetics and toss out empty and expired products.

Not only does this declutter your space, but it also ensures that you’re using fresh, effective products on your skin.

You won’t believe I was using expired lipstick for a long time because I wasn’t taking inventory of my cosmetics.

When I found out, I was disgusted and worried.

Since then, I have checked my cosmetic and bath products regularly to make sure I’m using fresh products on my skin.
