3 Cocoa Butter Skincare Products Changed My Skin Unbelievably
I’ve always loved cocoa butter skincare products since I was much younger.
But I had never used them religiously until recently.
During the Spring sale, I bought these Bath and Body Works cocoa butter and hyaluronic acid lotions and used them interchangeably.
So, I couldn’t tell which softened and deeply moisturized my skin.
But then we had to move to Texas.
During our road trip, I used my husband’s Nivea cocoa butter lotion as mine was finished.
I started seeing and feeling the difference in my skin.
Since then, I was hooked.
I’ve added some other cocoa butter products to my face care routine, which I’ll share with you in this post.
And we’ll also discuss the benefits of cocoa butter in skincare products.
Let’s begin.
This is not a sponsored post. I bought and tried these products independently, and I’m impressed. Hence, the blog post.

My Cocoa Butter Skincare Routine for Deeply Moisturized Skin
I’ve always been someone who sticks to a product for a long time when testing, and after I see it works for my skin,
I hardly do product hopping, which can be both a blessing and a curse.
But if a product works, why leave it for something new?
I will only change to a new product if the one I currently have no longer benefits my skin or is not suitable for treating a skin condition.
My issue was dry skin, and I discovered that cocoa butter healed and moisturized my skin more deeply than most products.
Nivea Cocoa Butter Body Lotion
As I mentioned, we moved to Texas and made it a road trip.
I was sharing a Jergens lotion with my kids when my husband asked me to try the Nivea cocoa butter lotion he had been using.
First, I fell in love with the scent, and then I loved how it smoothed my skin.
In the past, I used Nivea body lotion when I just started buying my skincare products.
So, I have some history with how great Nivea products are.
But you know how we start using new things through friends, family, and societal influence.
That’s how I stopped using most drugstore moisturizers.
Then I hopped on the Bath and Body Works train and didn’t get off until I tried Nivea again.
Now I’m hooked.
This Nivea lotion moisturizes deeply whether you use it immediately after a shower or reapply during the day.
Even with Texas heat, it doesn’t feel oily or heavy on my skin, so I think I will stick to it for a long time.
Lastly, this lotion is big and not pricey, so it’s value for money.

Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Skin Therapy Face Oil
After moving to Texas, I noticed the skin around my temples was rough and dry.
I thought if cocoa butter worked so well on my body, it might also work well on my face.
So, I searched for face care products with cocoa butter and found Palmer’s face oil with Vitamin C and retinol.
And I was a bit skeptical because I’m cautious about applying oil to my face.
But I read the product reviews, and most were positive.
So I decided to try Palmer’s face oil, and it’s one of the best cocoa butter products I’ve ever used on my skin.
It smoothened the roughness on my temples and moisturized the skin deeply.
Also, my facial skin was drying up in the Texas heat.
The sun was killing my skin, and the products I was using weren’t helping much.
But Palmer’s cocoa butter face oil has improved my skin beyond my imagination within days of using it.
I use it mostly at night after cleansing and toning, and my face stays moisturized all night.
I can rub my skin and see oil spreading.
It feels great to see my skin produce its natural sebum with the help of this product.
I’m in love and will use Palmer’s face oil for a long time.

Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Eventone Fade Cream
Another cocoa butter skincare product I added to my regimen is Palmer’s cocoa butter eventone fade cream.
This cream is thick but not heavy.
Sometimes, I use it in the morning after cleansing and toning, but some days, I use it at night after applying Palmer’s face oil.
I dab and blend it into dark spots on my face.
So far, there has been no skin irritation—only soft, smooth, moisturized skin.

The Benefits of Cocoa Butter for Skin
- Cocoa butter is rich in fatty acids, which help to hydrate and nourish the skin, improving elasticity and creating a protective barrier over the skin to lock in moisture.
- It’s also packed with antioxidants that help fight free radicals, reducing the signs of aging like wrinkles and fine lines.
- Cocoa butter’s anti-inflammatory properties make it an excellent choice for soothing sensitive skin and reducing redness and irritation.
- Additionally, its emollient nature helps to smooth and soften rough skin, making it a versatile and practical addition to any skincare routine.
So, that’s it.
